Hi,

I want to create an image in Photoshop to be printed as a 2-color job. This is not suitable for a duotone as I don't want the colors to blend together. Basically I want some areas of the image to be 100% PMS 390 (green) and the rest of the areas to be 100% PMS 4495 (brown).

I've looked at various forums but can't find a simple step-by-step procedure to get this right, I've also tried creating an RGB document, then pasting the bits of the image into each of the R and B channels and then duplicating those channels and making them spot channels, and saving as DCS 2.0, but I think I'm missing some crucial steps - am I anywhere near the right track here?

The image is attached so you can see what I'm trying to achieve. Thanks for any help you can give!
