I have a friend who is obsessed by some photos used in connection with an online effort to raise money for this guy who is dying of ALS and want to be frozen at death.

My friend thinks the photos are fake and the whole thing is a hoax. He has an online forum and has been posting over and over about the supposed flaws in the photos. I see nothing wrong with the photos, and I am trying to get him to stop his unhealthy obsessing about it. Below are some links to his posts online where he has posted the photos and his analysis of them. Please post there and give your honest opinion. Thank you for your time.

Here is the link to the main forum and you can see the photos right there at the top with some of his comments:

In the link above are a number of threads and posts about the photos. Please post there and give your analysis. No registration or login is required.

Here is the link to his blog where he has reposted many of the photos and also his diagrams supposedly showing the flaws in the photos showing they are fakes.

Thanks.

I don't really see anything wrong, plus anyone could put on a neck brace and take a picture with other people. Why would anyone have to fake that? I could see the need to Photoshop something if it was someone famous in the picture with him. But it isn't, so what would be the point of faking pictures like those?

Hi Unperson, I have looked at these photos very carefully and like Hawkeye, I don't believe that these photos have been tapered with! Your friend is seeing things that are not there.
