Please help me!!!

Hello everybody! I am new to this forum and was just wandering if someone with a little more photoshop experience could help me out. I am going to be painting my car (91 camaro RS) soon and need help picking colors. I would like the body to be either orange or gunmetal grey, and the ground effects be black. The ground effects are the pieces that run along the bottom of the car that have the scoops and curves. also the wing would be the same color as the ground effects.



As you can see in the picture the gfx (ground effects) are the pieces that run along the bottom of the car and are fairly easy to distinguish between the body. You cant see the rear spoiler in this pic but you guys can use any 91 camaro RS pic. Thank you all in advance!

didn't spend too much time on the masking so the edges are iffy in places... but you get the idea.

hue/sat layer with blue background pasted on top and set to blending mode luminosity (to smooth out artifacts from the hue/sat adj.). black done with curves adj. layer.

Dude thanks ALOT and you did a really good job! What are your opinions, do you think the car will look good. the orange will probably be brighter than that.

girl actually, anthony is the last name. i'm partial to the gunmetal grey, but mostly because it reminds me of my brother's all black 85 camaro. tried to push the orange color a bit more using curves, but lost some of the highlights.

haha sorry my mistake. and yeah it looks good. im thinking about going grey on it with maybe some black stripes going over the car. I just dont think i can pull off making the gfx a different color.
