don't even know where to start:frown:

Monday I went walking the dogs very early. I let them out of the car and minutes later, I was flat on the ground thanks to my "puppy" Sadie (now 10 months and I think 30+ kg)
Then in the evening we had this massive storm. I took a lot of pics of the in coming clouds and when I was about to transfer them to my PC, my husband told me to shut down the PC.
Later, I formatted my card....need I say more?
Now I can't recover these files, I had tons of malware on my PC already.
Then yesterday, I went out all day, shooting at a zoo and, o bliss, Ikea on the way home.
Must have done some things wrong, because I can hardly walk today.
O yeah, forgot to tell you, I have a date at the hospital next week, neurologist, seems (after lots of scans and such) my back...well, my leg hurts like mad, makes me shout any time I try picking up something.
Don't want surgery, no, please no.
So I ordered pizza right now and when I finish eating, I will turn in with some pain killers.
Thank you for reading this...

Yours...

Sounds like a bad day in the office. Can't help much with the computer problems you're having but.......

I've suggested this to a lot of people most especially a few in this forum....

There's this herbal medication that I find a miracle in alleviating or clearing up most bodily maladies. I've personally used it and has cleared up the haziness in my vision . Not that I swear by it but even the optometrist I go to can't figure out how the cloudiness in my right eye disappeared. I've prescribed it to my aunt and it helped clear her joint pains.

As my wife and I care for so many pets, we use the herbal medicine for treatment of hard cases among our animals and its been a miracle medication for most of them..... no joke.

It's from a company called STEMTECH. You can google it and see for yourself. No harm trying.....

To all....... this is not spam advertising, ok ..... .. just trying to help a forum member.

I can relate darlin, having some similar stories myself.

Here's a suggestion for you if you want. But it needs visuals to help it along. My 55 pound puppy (now 2 years old) has pulled me over in the past and just likes to pull if there's a rabbit, cat, dog, etc. I learned a great trick from a lady with cerebral palsy who has a large dog to guide her in her wheelchair.

I call it the cinch. For one thing it is an abdominal cinch that helps to control him, and secondly it makes walking him a cinch. I usually resist being told how to do things I think I can control (uh huh, ever heard that one before?), but am so glad I took a moment to listen and try it out.

Anyway, if you're interested I will make pictures for you. It takes a certain kind of leash, the mountain cable variety, and a dog harness, but I already had both. If I didn't, I'd go out in a heartbeat and get them.

I hope the pizza helped. Or was it the pain killer, lol?

Clare, Sadie was not on the leash, she was behind me, so I didn't see her coming.
I feel better this morning after the Ibuprofen, at least, walking doesn't hurt that much anymore.
Now for my computer, that's a different story, I keep getting messages to download something :banghead:

I had the same virus. I strongly suggest that you get any files you care about backed up right away. It gave me popups for a while then froze me solid, saying that I needed to pay for their service to get the garbage off my system. I ended up having to reformat the whole thing to get rid of it!!!

sounds like you've got sciatica Foto, a friend got it from someone pulling the chair from under her as she went to sit down. it's not nice, it can cripple her for days back and leg too. from what I remember, the surgery, if any is required, is very minor a small would is left that heals quite quickly.
otherwise you're normally given strong painkillers, my friend is on ******** at the moment.

a good ol' sweep with malwarebytes and an install of adblocker should deal with that! :) but then, that's just me being optimistic there :P but that sounds like a pain in the ass m'dear!

Nothin like a big ole pizza and some pain pills to help MY feelings! Hope your feeling better. As to your sick computer, find you some good virus software and sock it to that virus and the malware. Best to find you one that helps maintain it too. I researched PCMatic for a friend last week and it got some really good reviews. Lots of them out there, I run Norton on my computer and it keeps it in pretty good shape. Good luck with getting it cleaned up.

I got the "good old" Delta home search bar now and despite all instructions, I can't get rid off it.
I'm also lead to a page where I am tricked into downloading a HD player. Needless to say, I don't obey.

What a nuisance!
Anyway, I could recover some of the pictures on the card.

I am having to do a clean install. I have done all the virus and malware checks I can. I'm occasionally having trouble with keeping my internet conncetion, though that is better with the completion of 2 different software scans and cleanups. However, I have lost my PSG notifications, despite several things like cleaning my google cache. Nothing in junk mail so they aren't getting blocked.

You may need to do this. So like it was said above. Get yourself a good external hard drive or a cloud storage space and get your files backed up. Just be prepared to reinstall all your programs if you do take your computer back to factory specs. Groan. I'm putting it off a bit, but will have to get it done if I want to restore my computer's full function, free of garbage.

I hope you're doing better. Zee's speculation of sciatica is possible. But any soft tissue injury (which might include muscle, tendon, ligament, or fascia), if nasty enough, could also give you that kind of pain. And would clear up faster than sciatica, so I hope that's all it is.

Keep those pain killers coming and don't forget anti-inflammatories and moist heat if need be.

The scans, tests, they showed the same result : a pinched nerve lower back. That causes tingling in my lower leg and horrible pains when I try picking up something. Walking is no problem, I can walk for two hours without feeling anything. I have no pains at night.
They also found out I must have had a fracture on my coccyx once. Amazing because I can't remember having had any pain.
O well, I will see what the neurologist says.

As for my computer, Clare, I have 4 external HD's but the best one crashed last week :banghead: (files do show up on my husband's pc thank heavens)
If my husband finds the time (November that will be), he can install from scratch.
For now I managed to quarantine the malware.
It's only the irritating Delta search bar I can't get rid off and I tried everything

I had that with Babylon search. I finally managed to remove it from my browser commands, but it occasionally still came back and I was not findning it in my uninstall programs list. I had a troubleshooter find and remove it, then I went through getting a new motherboard, so I got to start clean again.
