Photoshop will not save #0000ff

My Photoshop works fine. But I want to save something that is completely blue (#0000FF) but when I save the image in any way, it goes back to #0000fe. This wouldn't be a problem, but the color needs to be #0000ff for a certain reason. I've tried every method of saving and every time I go back into photoshop to check the images color, it's back at #0000fe.

Any help?

is this also when you save to psd?
i just tested it with an 8bit color png save, worked for me on cs4
#0000ff stayed that way.

you can try when you create a new file, to switch around with the color mode
like 32bit RGB file etc, see if that works for you

I agree. Offhand I would say check your color mode.

As a first fix, you might try resetting your preferences if this keeps up.
