Hey,

This is my first post, and I have no real photo-editing software on my computer. I'm not really good with photoshop or GIMP or any of the editors, but I have a simple request. I'm looking for a new wallpaper for my computer and I have an idea of how I would like it.

I have 2 attachments. The first one is the car and what I would like to be edited, the second one is the shoe I would like to be added to the original photo.

Can someone please photoshop it so that the bright red shoe replaces the turquoise shoe in the original photo, then make the entire photo black and white with the exception of the bright red shoe? That would be fantastic. Also, my resolution is 1680x1050, so if any resizing is needed, that would be great too (but definitely not that important, the pic is already pretty big).

If you guys need a better pic of the shoe, it's called the "Kobe VI Mango", and there's plenty of pics on google images.

I know this is quite a bit to ask for, but it would mean a lot to me. Thanks in advance!

this is your lucky day you dont need to be good with photoshop or Gimp it is easy to get what you want with a couple of simple clicks

first of all duplicate the image

Press control +I this will invert the image turning the blue red

add a layer mask or use the eraser tool to erase the rest of the image

add a hue saturation adjustment layer and select cyan channel and move the slider so the cyan laces will become red then paint in black on the layer mask over the sky to restore its original color

Hmm I'm actually not trying to change the color of the turquoise shoe, I'm trying to replace it altogether with the red one, if that makes any sense?

And I don't have any kind of photo-editing software, only MS Paint and Picture It 2002, which really limits my options.
 
^^ Thanks! That's exactly what I'm talking about! Now would it be possible to make everything black and white except for the shoe? And also make it bigger so I can use it as a background?
