sketch is fairly easy many ways to achieve it my first option is to go to filter > stylize > find edges and then convert to black and white or you can just go to filter> sketch and choose 1 of the many options

Hi, I just went to the psd tuts site Vafann recommended. It's very good for what I read, just one tutorial. Sounds like there are a lot of free basic tutorials, then to get more advanced starts at $9/month. The one I went to is written step by step, but seems easy to follow. If you want something different, go to lynda.com. There are some basic intro videos there, but more advanced is $25/month. I am subscribed to this because it has instruction videos for probably every software that is in public use and I need more than Photoshop. Also, I learn better from videos.

But I know that there are plenty of individual tuts available, including on this site. So do a search here or get googling!
