Photoshop Text Editing Doubt

I am a beginner in photoshop though am gud in AE. I downloaded a Photoshop template from the net to learn but I encountered a problem.

I have 2 images below. [Sorry that am not gud in Paint Either :P]

It asked me for 5 posts to post links. but this is urgent. Forgive me...

Image 1:

Now if you see in Image 1, the text is easily Editable. Whereas in Image 2, I couldn't edit the text. What is the reason? How to edit the text?

In the layer window, the Icon of Text in Image 1 is different than Icon of Text in Image 2. I suppose they had added some effects to it. But am not sure enough.

I would have done that in AE but it is getting crashed again and again that I couldn't open it at all. That's not a big deal though. I just need to know how to edit this Text layer of Image 2.

So if anyone could help me, that would be great.

To add, the text layer you are trying to edit has been converted for smart filters, it has the lens flare on it.

Double click this layer, which will open another window, edit the text then go to File>Save then go back to your original document. You should now see the edited text.
