Hi All,
I'm new in here.
I'm aware to the common system requirements but I just bought a brand new computer and tried to save a kinda big file (250 mega) .I received a message regarding problem with the ram memory.
Here are my system details:

CPU – Intel® Core™ i7-3770 Processor 3.4Ghz (8M Cache, up to 3.90 GHz)
Motherboard – MSI/Gigabyte H61M Socket 1155
Memory – 8Gb DDR3 Samsung/Kingston 1600Mhz
HDD – 500Gb SATA-II/III Samsung/WD/Seagate
Video Card – Intel H61

What do you say? Don't you think the system is adequate for PS purposes?
Should I upgrade something?

thank you in advance,

These kind of specs with integrated graphics? You'll definitely want to buy some sort of video card.. You're bottlenecking your system immensely!

i'm going to guess with the RAM you have the VRAM will be over a gig.

and please don't say ram memory, you are say random access memory memory. doesn't add up :P

don't know why you are getting that error when saving a 250mb file i've saved bigger with just over a quarter of the RAM you have :/

According to a quick Google search on other forums i can see many people asking about this card.
The most common answer is yes - it easily exceeds the software requirements

Not sure if this will help you but you may want to check preferences, performance, memory usage and alot little bit more than what you have going.. again I'm not sure if it will help with your problem you can try, it will not hurt

set up a scratch disk....I have two HD for this reason. Also check to see if you have 3 D capabilities, the system will enable the graphics and will tell you. Many of the newer systems have enough video built in, but a separate card is only $100. and can be added on.

Not saying this is your problem but memory modules can go bad also. I think I would get a good tech to check it out. Is your system recognizing your full 8gb?
