Photoshop Request

Hi all,I've got a rather simple request-
Well in any case, it doesn't seems that hard, but I still can't manage to do it myself perfectly.

Attached is the image,
All I need is to change the background color from grey to black (I have trouble in the glass area and where the color slightly fades away..)
I need it for printing on t-shirts, so details are important.

Add a levels adjustment layer. Bring in both end adjustments until you get the effect you're after.

I did it in Camera Raw..just slide the Black slider all the way to the left. One stroke.

Here is my attempt. I adjusted the black by sliding it all the way to 100% under Selective Color. I then invoked the Auto Contrast adjust. This is not destructive on the colors, just contrast. Save and done.

Yep, nice thing about computer, so many ways. ACR is not destructive either.
