Hey everyone.

I've edited and created a facebook cover for myself. I'm really happy about it, but I know it can become even greater looking than my photoshop skills can comprehend.

This is it ^

I would like the text "Ice Ice Baby" to stay, as that is what people apparently have decided to call me, when they meet me, around campus. The bear too, as i absolutely love it! :cool2:
The grey star can gladly be removed. I don't like it, but i couldn't make anything else :-( .

But how can these two wishes be mixed together into an awesome facebook cover?

I'd really appriciate input! Put your nametag somewhere on the picture, and ill gladly show your work as my cover - as gratitude

easier if you give us the .psd file, so we don't have to cut out every thing with a pen tool, but can just work in your layers.
please tell me you saved it

@MikeMc it gives the name of the font in the font selection of the text tool when you go to edit the layer, you should then be able to download the font ;)

yep, select the text layer, with the warning signs on it then use the text tool to select part of the text, and it should tell you the name of the missing font in the font selection area.

Loving the bear in glasses very 'cool', the star and font for me look very poor compared to old grizzly.

Here's a different twist on what you've already done...

sunglasses-bearcopy_zps3b064e39.png

How to...
1. Open your image and duplicate the background layer. (CTRL + J)
2. Select the yellow star and place it on its own layer. (CTRL + J)....Then click back to the background copy.
3. With the rectangular marquee tool select all of text and the star. Fill the selection with black.
4. Type your text and shape it as you wish. In my example the effect is Arc Lower. (Check out the options bar)
5. Rasterize your text. Now add a very thin blue stroke to your text.
6. Hit CTRL + T to slightly rotate the text. (Grab outside of corner handle)
7. Go Filter > Pixelate > Crystallize. Make the cell size 3 or 4.
8. Go Filter > Blur > Gaussian blur. (Radius about 1.0 pixel)
9. Go Image > Image Rotation > 90 degrees CW.
10. Go Filter > Stylize > Wind. You may need to repeat this filter to get the effect you want.
11. Go Filter > Image Rotation > 90 degrees CCW.
12. Using the Move Tool (With the correct layer selected) will enable you to position both the yellow star and or your text.

This is just my take on your image. Give it a go yourself, and put your own stamp on your work.

Loving the chill effect on the text!
I will definitely play around with it
