I'll consider it if I can heal the zit.

Alright in the meantime, my laughable attempt xD

I'm sorry I'm a total noob with photoshop and I just wanted to give it a shot.

I think a more experienced user could use this tough.

I have been over this thread with a big brush, and to be honest it goes on regular - the payment debate and i do agree whole heartedly.
BUT the bickering will stop, or be swept like it as been.

I still can't believe you guys would actually be able to give it a realistic look.

What would the approach look like? Would you simply search out the web for decent pictures and merge them together? Or would you draw some stuff? Is the stamp tool for the skin a viable option?

It can only be made to look realistic IF ORIGINAL IMAGES ARE OF A REALLY GOOD QUALITY, the rest is down to individual skill levels within Photoshop.
You knocked on a couple of doors with your last entry and to some extent what you said is correct, that and above and a whole arsenal of other tools.

I see..

Well I tried to do it once again but without using any textures. In the first image I made I actually used bruce willis' head xDD

Here's the attempt of only working with tools

I think we could cache a bit of the editing with blur and bad lightning? It feels close to impossible to make it realistic.

Btw I'd love to know what you think about my attempt.

Edit: I'll try hiding the edited stuff with some changes to lightning, noise, blur etc.

He could say "I couldn't do a better pic since the lightning was bad" or something similar.

Again the original image only lends itself to what you are doing now, this is a good effort especially from a relatively new shopper.
Going in circles now, with shop it sometimes helps all our sanities to just stop having learned something and move onto the next attempt.

Thanks for the kind words. I kept trying after my post but you're right. It's really just going in circles.
Tough I could add some hair to make it look more credible. It looked kinda cut off. I also had some weird lines. I corrected that, added a bit of noise, overlightened it and added a bit of gaussian blur.

That is my final attempt. I'd love to see a pro edit this to a further stage.
Here's the image but without overlightening, noise and blur (White lines right next to the hair are easily removed with the burn tool. I forgot those)

Edit: What do you guys think of this? I'm relatively new to photoshop. Feeling proud of this one altough it's not realistic :)

Alright guys I'm sorry to post again but I totally missed one point! Obviously if you cut your hair like that, the skin is going to look a bit brighter with a bit of hair coming out already. I just can't let go of this picture. It's really good for me to practice.

One touch here and there from one of the gurus and we will have helped our friend here :D

Good work EG for a newbie or honestly for anyone given the image and the project. Like Paul said, at some point, we accept the work we did, the movement forward in PS skills that we made, and we move on tot he next thing. I think you've done all you can and the OP is satisfied with your donation. Keep up the good work.
