Photoshop Programs

Hi All,

Im not entirely new to photoshop. Over the past few years i have used Photodraw, which has allowed me to do basic photoshops.

Over the past year, my job has required me to carry out detailed photoshops. Photodraw is ok, but doesn't give me the ability do anything in detail.

As well as for my Job, I would like to carry out photoshops in my free time and hopefully develop my own business, but that will come as i gain more experience.

I could do with some advice from you 'gurus' that know which programs would be best suited for me. Obviously i will eventually look into purchasing the top photoshop programmes but at the moment i would like something that is good value for money (i.e. not too expensive). Even if it is free, as long as it enables me to do detailed photoshops.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,
Mez

Photoshop Elements is much less expensive than Photoshop and it will suit the needs of many users but...You'd need to define what specifically you need to do, there is no set meaning to "do detailed photoshops".

Adobe will allow you to download a thirty day trial of either to try out.
