Photoshop or photograph?

I do not think it was taken under water as the dress is not limp and pressed down as it should be, the "surface" seems to be scratches made by a stiff bristled brush, and a bit of blur and minus vibrance will get you close to that.

I'd have to agree with all of Mikes points. In addition to those there's something not quite right with the perspective of the floor and the guys right foot. White clothing also has a tendency to go translucent when wet, I don't see any of that happening in the image.

Look at surface the faces should be seen, see the distant background between them that points to chop to me..... Just sayin

for me its photoshop :)
the boys have a point but its not only that Look at their feets the way they are standing it cant be done under watter.
Cheers.

guys...... think

what do white clothes do when they get wet? (think about a wet t-shirt contest)
bazinga, do you see the guy's lovely nipples shining through the white blouse? (unfortunately not)

Photoshop-no way would her clothes, especially the dress, look like that underwater.

THis sort of question has been asked many times by many people and its now easier to answere than it once was. Check out the following from John Nack

A new Photoshop extension detects image manipulation

I’m excited to announce that the company founded by my old boss & friend Kevin Connor, working together with image authenticity pioneer Dr. Hany Farid, has released their first product, FourMatch—an extension for Photoshop CS5/CS6 that “instantly distinguishes unmodified digital camera files from those that may have been edited.”

Check out the video, its very interesting

works on .jpeg images taken by a camera...So as I shoot Raw, all my Images are fake. Great stuff.

Well that sucks, have you considered contacting the developer and mentioning this? I thought it worked on all images that PS could work on. To limit it to jpgs,,,,is,,,,, well,,,, rather limiting.
