Photoshop Fine-Arts Questions

Hi everyone
I recently saw these artworks (http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/beautiful-and-dark-surreal-art).
Are these done by using just Photoshop/Photoshop like programs? or Photoshop and some other graphic programs?

I'd say all were achieved with Photoshop. Some probably with assistance from 3d apps to create some of the elements (balls, other objects).

There are other application that can do image manipulation but none can match the capabilities of Photoshop.
