Im using Photoshop CS6 and ive noticed that the textures are missing from the filters menu. I need the Stained glass texture that is defaulted with Photoshop. Ive done some extensive searching for it but to no avail. Ive also tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that was the issue but again no avail.

Does anyone know how i can get the texture?

Thanks.

I am going to guess you were surprised by the new menu layout as many people were. They have tidied it up a lot

go to Filter > Filter Gallery and all the old filters and more are there and I believe stained glass is under textures the bottom of the list

Yeah i was a bit but did find the filter gallery sub menu but it wont open it gives me this error: 'Could not complete the Filter Gallery command because the selected area is empty.'

You cant do it on a transparant layer it needs to have an image or a solid colour on make sure you have a layer with content on selected before entering the filter menu
