Hi there,

I'm new for photoshop, sometime ago i requested my friend to performed some mofification on a picture. He had showed me the original picture and the modify picture on his computer and he save it to my flash disk. Recently i try to reopen the picture, found there is 2 files in the folder, a picture.jpeg (80kb) and picture.htf (15,530 kb).

when i open the file it's only show the original picture the touch-up picture is not found. I unable to open the .htf file. Is the .htf file is the modify file ?

Kindly advice this is a very important picture.

regards:

First, may I inquire why you didn't simply ask your friend about this?

Of course, if he/she is not available, Google is your next best friend. :-)

I searched {file extension htf} and immediately found this nice explanation:
http://file.downloadatoz.com/88534_htf-file-extension/

which tells me that Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign (both CS6 versions) apparently can open *.htf files.

You may not have either of these programs, but if you post the htf file here, lots of us have those programs and I'm sure someone will be happy to see if they can open it for you and send it back in a more common format (eg, another JPG).

HTH,

Tom M
