Photoshop CS6 Marquee Tool Not Snapping To Layers?

Hey Guys,

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

Anyway I'm running Photoshop CS6, trying to design a logo, and I'm having a problem with the Rectangle Marquee Tool not snapping to Layers. I have snap turned on and working for everything, the marquee tool just won't snap to layers.

I'm using a MacBook Pro Retina. How can I get the Marquee Tool to Snap to my layer?

There's also Snap To in the View menu. Are the Snap to elements enabled?

Yep, I have snap enabled with Snap To "All" Selected.

OK. Resetting the PS preference may or may not help in your case but it did for me some time back. ... give it a try.
