Hi,

I have next very annoying problem with PS and that is that i make for example 3 different layers with 3 different things on it but when i push CTRL+T to change something on a layer ALL 3 layers get selected so i just can't arrange the thing that i want.. .

Here's an image:

I try to make the little second cirkel bigger or smaller but all three things get selected and i don't know why????? :frown::frown::frown:

Only one layer is selected in the palette. You have layer 4 selected, is it the correct layer that contains the object you want to transform?

Yes it is the correct layer.. but if it was another one then still ONE OBJECT would be selected to transform and not always ALL OF THEM right?:s

only thing I see is the layers are not numbered correctly.......try renumbering the layers as they should be 1 2 3 something is off ,thats all I see

probably will not matter but try it anyway......

I tried what you said and numbered the layers very good but still if i want to transform one it selects them all man!!!!It really makes me crazy!!!!Normally it worked good!!!!I don't get it..

It looks like to me you like that is a path, not an object. If the path is selected it doesn't matter what layer you select, ctr+t will select and transform the path.

Uhum.. i'm sorry man.. but what is a "path"?And where are my paths because normally i could see it near layers but now they are gone..

Thank you man but that didn't helped me.. you know.. i did a lot of videotutorials and made logos and stuff so the basic basics i know but now i have a problem that i just can't solve.

I'm planning to completely delete PS and reinstall it back fresh and then the problem must be gone i think.. .

Do you think that is a good idea?

But i have to safe all my downloaded brushes, fonts and stuff though..

Hey man.. thank you very much but i solved much problems via just completely resetting to the default ps settings i found here:

How to Reset Photoshop to default settings

But only the last one worked for me and that is:

"Press and hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift then (right mouse click) a Photoshop shortcut or Image file and select Open."

Glad you got it straight, but reinstalling etc. isn't a good solution. You posted a screenshot of the paths palette showing two paths, which is what Ctrl+t was trying to transform as I said. Paths don't create themselves, obviously you are doing something wrong. You asked in a prior post, "...but what is a "path"? Take a look in the help files to get a better understanding of paths, they are very useful.
