I'm getting kind of desperate here, hope you guys can help:
My photoshop tools do not work. None of them.

Worked fine yesterday, but today when I launched Photoshop, I got a message from my firewall (online Armor) that Photoshop.exe may be recording my keystrokes. I clicked 'allow' and it launched Photoshop.
Went to open a file and I got another OA message that Photoshop.exe was trying to get a screenshot.

I again clicked allow and the file opened. All the tools in the toolbar are frozen, not working,

I've reset prefs, checked for corrupt fonts, reinstalled twice, and downloaded the Adobe Liscensing patch with no change in the results.

I havent changed any settings or downloaded anything, run my antivirus scans and Malwarebytes, ESET, Hijack this and anything else I could think of, no infections.

This is a legal copy, by the way.

Thanks much for any and all ideas. Would be nice to get this fixed because a) it's my income and b) I'm going bald from tearing my hair out (and I'm a girl - don't look too good without hair.

Cheers, Chris.

try to disable your firewall just use windows firewall and see if that makes any difference?
if it does then uninstall that firewall and reinstall it. just a thought.

Why would photoshop try to get a screen shot before you activating one?....... that is very strange.I have never heard that one before.

Is your virus software up to date? I would suggest running a scan disk. Perhaps you have a virus that is not actually related to photoshop.
