Hello there one and all!
For my birthday this last year, I received a 10x6 ADESSO CT-Z12A Graphics Tablet which I have rather enjoyed using!

I have been using it for some digital work as well as Digital Inking for comic books (also using Mango Studios) ... Anywho , just the other day I loaded up CS3 (like Many times before) and was going to do some work. When I began to use the pen, it is like it Disappeared !!!
I can move it around the Outside of the pages, and when I move it in towards the center of the screen ... Nothing! When I shake the mouse, the cursor Re-Appears!

I have never had this happen before!

The strange thing is that it works fine in Mango Studios and a "Portable" version of CS5 that I use for quick fixes.

What would cause it to just Stop Working?

PS: I have re-installed 2 of the latest drivers as well ... nothing! The latest one, was causing even more issues so I did an un-install and went back one

If anyone can help in any way, I would be VERY Thankful of the assistance !!!

:banghead:

Oh yea, I am using Windows 7 64

I gave it a try.
It reset the preferences but the second I went to open a file, it froze up again ... and when I used the mouse the cursor would re-appear !

The most common problems I've seen are out of date video drivers, corrupt preference files and enabling OpenGL support on a video card that can't handle it correctly.

It's not a preferences problem, you already tried that.
You updated drivers, tablet or video?
If not the video drivers try that.
I don't think there's OpendGL support in CS3 but check under Edit|Preference|Performance and if it's there uncheck Enable OpenGL Drawing.
