Photoshop Cs3 Crash everytime when I try to deselect

Hi all,

Help please, I used Magic Wand and selected an area in one of the layer and when I hold down alt and deselect CS3 crash every single time :(

any idea as in why? it was working fine for the last few days... the only things I did in between was added 2GB of Ram that shouldn't caused problem right ?
