I have used CS2 commercially since it was introduced without and problems until
the last couple of weeks when images opened normally show a distinct purple cast.
Two experienced IT spe******ts can find nothing wrong and confirm all appropriate settings
are in order and monitor properly calibrated.
Images are, however, OK when opened in Image Ready and Windows Picture and Fax viewer.
The only way round the problem (which it a bit of a pain) is to open images individually
[ RAW TIFFS] in CS2 via Bridge showing the purple cast THEN to click on VIEW>PROOF COLORS which gets rid of the cast and can be adjusted in the normal way.
Could this possibly have anything to do with drivers?
All suggestions welcome
