Photoshop cs being used ..I am getting a padlock symbol next to thumbnails in browser

Hi...inexperienced here..I am getting a padlock symbol next to images displayed in my browser - Photoshop cs. What does this mean- does if affect file sizes and how do I get rid of it ? thanks geeda
