Hello,
I need to find out about working with Black and White photos in PS cc14, ie. cleaning up scanned images and then printing them.

I have a modern mac with OS X 10.8.

I am familiar with B&W in previous versions of PS[just the version called CS-that must be ancient :) . I have looked around as best I can for help with this need, but have come up with a blank. Video Tutorials would be great.

Thanks in advance,

mimsy.

If you can function with that ancient CS, the new cloud will be a breeze

if it was a breeze as u maintain, then why oh why am I having enormous trouble with this...? :( am not dumb :)

I am unable to access the controls for histogram, etc. as was easily found in the older CS edition. Perhaps, I am too set in the ''older ways''

it seems that not many ppl use b&w images nowadays. all colour or other wise going from colour to b&w. no wonder it is difficutl to find black and white image management.
as asked for, Vid tuts would be of real benefit. and no matter what u say, the 'mordern' PS CC14 is not easy to use. there are alot of things in there that are troublesome...I've looked around a bit. though mind, just 'a bit'. :)
thanks,
mimsy.

perhaps I shud just request a link to a video tutorial to assist me...any chance of someone sending on such a link?

thanks,

mimsy

Hi mimsy, sorry, I must have missed your thread yesterday.

Are you just having problems finding things in CC?

The histogram is under WINDOW > HISTOGRAM, this panel can now be docked on your panels toolbar.

Here are some videos showing navigation, workspace, and interface:

Good luck.
