I've used photoshop before, but it was a bit too tedious for me. Also, I don't have photoshop on my computer. Is there any way someone could photoshop this hood onto my car and make it the same color also? I would really appreciate it.

Here's four links to pictures of the hood:

Thank you!

use the lasso tool and copy the hood you want to paste into your red car.

then, paste the copied hood into your red car image.

go to edit/transform/scale to re-size the hood to the size you want. then move it into place ontop of the red hood.

try changing the new hood's layer blending modes to see if it helps "smooth" the new hood onto the red one.

I don't have Photoshop on my computer. The only time I've used it was in high school.

ok well, get your hands on a copy and try those instructions. You can probably even download a trial version from Adobe's website.

this is a site to help users LEARN.

Woah this thread is being cleaned up after I have typed this.

Let me sum up some stuff here

PSG is a photoshop Discussion forum for users who want to learn or even if seasoned Pro's want to socialise with other Pro's etc.

However we allow new members to post requests for "free work" to be done, This does not always get done and is down to individual members if they want to do it.

The original Poster also has the advantage of posting in the work for a fee section where they can pay someone to do something but are more assured to get quality work done.

However wherever the OP decides to post we do not need to make them feel awkward and lay into them. Other members may be happy to do the free request to learn something for themselves.

Guys I know we are clamping down on free requests at the moment but if it offends you then there is no need to lay intoi the OP and ruin the thread. Yes advise them how to do it you will find most the time ops dont have photoshop and have no intention of learning it etc so just ignore the thread if you dont want to do the free request.

Ideally everyone making requests would be requesting for instructions however this is not the case and never will be the case. Every post up to now I am deleting as we dont need it making other people boycott the thread.

i agree.
if you dont want to help then dont.
but dont drive people away because when i find time i like to help people with these kinds of requests (dont have much time right now)

Thank you Hoogle for keeping this thread open for Newbies like me and others that like to do random Photoshops to learn from.
Paul's quickie looks nice. anyways since I'm learning Here's mine. I have to use free Photoshops so I am more limited but rise to the challenge. couldn't figure out how to turn a black or white 2ND image to match so I just made it with a strip.

Thank you Hoog. I was coming here to do the same cleanup. It's been bothering me and we owe you an apology skyza. Please accept. You see, there are members jumping in to have fun with your request.

We have a policy which says that we will honor requests for free Photoshop work when and if our members desire to help. We, of course, will not help fake legal documents, diplomas, and so forth.

But ... it is not the policy of this forum to tolerate disrespect to anyone making these requests, or condone behaviour which is meant to patronize, taunt, or embarrass. We encourage people who are learning Photoshop to learn to do the things that are giving them problems, not have us do them -- whenever possible.

But ... bear in mind, we don't require that you say that you have tried and just can't get it if in fact you don't even use and never have used Photoshop, and some of us find it insulting to our intelligence. Be honest, be forthright, and you will encourage our members to respect and honor your request when there is someone around who can and will.

Thanks guys for the help. I've only used Photoshop in my graphic design class in high school. I was never that great at it. If I had it on my computer I would have tried doing it myself.

I wear no badge mate, only the sheriff and his deputies can do that.
