Photoshop asking to save "".psd ???

I am using Photoshop CC 2017.1 and over the last few days when I close PS down it has started to ask me if I want to save "".psd. ie a file with no name. It usually asks twice and clicking either yes or no seems to have no effect. However it does not always do this. It is not a major problem as the message eventually stops appearing but I would like to sort it out if anyone has any ideas.

Just a thought but have you tried resetting PS preferences

If that doesn't work try using PS CC cleaner tool
