Photoshop Activated Purchased Copy is blocked by Expired Trial Notice - how to fix?

When I try to use my recently installed purchased version of Photoshop CS5, the message comes up that my trial of Photoshop CS5 Extended has expired.

So, I tried deleting all the Photoshop files and reinstalling. Same issue.

I spent time on the phone with Adobe customer service today and all they had me do was the same as above, again. I am still getting the same message that my trial of Photoshop CS5 Extended has expired and do I want to purchase it now. How do I get rid of this erroneous window that is blocking me?!?

Each of the 4 times I have unistalled/reinstalled, I have entered the correct serial # for the purchased item during installation. Of course when I try to also enter it in the expired trial notice (that pops up each time I open Photoshop to use it after installaion), it doesnt accept the # since I purchased only Photoshop not Extended.

As far as I could tell, I deleted all the Photoshop software files on my Mac, not just those that were cleared with the Adobe Uninstall option, why am I still getting blocked from using what I purchased? Any ideas on where else I might find items from the Trial Version that I need to delete in order to be able to use my purchased copy?

(Also, the re-installed application is clearly marked Photoshop CS5, not Extended...)

One thing you could try...
Deactivate from the help menu (if you can)
Un-install Photoshop
Run the clean scripts that can be found here..
Resolve installation problems with CS5 Cleaner Tool | CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3
Re-install Photoshop.

Adobe are the only people that can really help you though, if this doesn't work you need to go back to them.

Uninstall using some good uninstalling software and reinstall it:D

Thanks. I started this process (deleted Photoshop), and started to run the cleaner tool. A message pops up mentioning that I also have Adobe Premiere Elements installed (which is working just fine) I want to keep Elements, so I don't want to uninstall this as well - will this mess things up?

I rally don't know, I only used the cleaner scripts back in the days of Photoshop CS3 and it was Adobe Reader that was the problem.

If it was me I would uninstall all Adobe Products first and re-install after the clean script.
You could give Adobe a call and see if the script will remove all thier products.
