Photos - Wrong Aspect Ratio ??

I have clicked around 300 photos and all turned out to be normal as intended except few every now & then (9 photos) where the subject tht is standing is appearing to be compressed, i.e, wrong aspect ratio... whereas background seems perfectly normal... I have no clue how this can happen....

Pls provide your input..... Also if it can corrected in Photoshop CS6

Can you please post a couple of the incorrect and a couple of the correct pics, so we can understand a bit better what you are wondering?
