photos source for photo manipulations

when doing photo manipulations to create posters or ad where do we get the original from any mean are there any sites and what kind do we use i mean do we buy or royalty free kind or what plz share some sites where we can get them from

istock.com is a good site

but really depends on what you want to do
If it is just for your own personal use then google image search

However if it is to display your work publicly then you need to give credit to the sources you used and have there permission to use them.

There are a couple of free stock image sites


Also places like here have thousands of pictures uploaded you just have to find them lol and then contact the members asking if you can use them
