I continue to try and create manipulations and have a ways to go.

This one has a lot of time and work in it, but not magnificent for sure. The source for the elements are all pretty much manips within themselves. Thanks for looking and constructive comments would be welcome.

The cabin or structure in the background was an old photo from Library of Congress Farm and War Info. Edited in PS to get final image then used Smart Photo Editor to get the effect.

The dragon killer came from Illustrations from Old Books. I did the colorization in PS

Used various filters Topaz Detail and the birds are brushes called Harbinger.

I really like the last post, the dragon killer really does look like the type of image you would have found in an older book very very convincing. Massive props for the result.

Thanks for the reply DV8. I was about ready to throw in the towel on these things. There has been 79 views of this and your the first to make any comment. Discouraging.
Here is the link to the source of the dragon killer http://www.fromoldbooks.org/ It is an old engraving and is entitled St George and the Dragon.

Your welcome, I have to say it almost looks like the type of engraving image you see on our $ £ notes here in the uk. Really good job.
Nice archive of stuff you have there at your site.
