Hello - I am basically reserving this thread (and hoping to get peoples interest going!) for my new found passion in photography.

Basically I have fallen in love with taking pictures, of anything - but I am unable to afford what people would class as a "proper Camera" so I am going to use this thread as a type of blog, for my Samsung Galaxy S4 Pictures. These pictures are going to be of everything and anything - all edited on my Phone and Photoshop - will be clear how they was edited.

This blog will keep being updated until I finish my website blog for this topic. Thanks and I hope you enjoy.

p.s: I would like everyone's thoughts on my images, Thanks.

Looking forward to seeing your work Nathaniel, Love taking pictures with my Note 3. Hell, it takes almost as good images as my DSLR used too hence why it's all I use now :)

Like I said I like Taking Pictures of anything and Everything - Might be 1 a day, might be 20 :D Depends what happens and what I see.

Images are about things people miss, Things that are not important, perspectives. I also like patters. (my reason for being on the forum is Photo manipulation, this is just a project of mine)

Later on down the thread you might see repeats, but Where I would of used the photo as a little project for Manipulation.

The "no filter no edit ones" I love. The "Phone edits" the contrast on them can be altered a bit. Its really amazing how well cellular phones camera are really improving.

A suggestion: anyone with a competent camera, whether it's a cell phone or a real camera, can now take technically acceptable pictures. There are literally millions of such pictures uploaded every day to photo sharing websites. Many of them have the exact same pushbutton effects added to them, so, in the long run, your pictures are not likely to stand out.

To avoid this and gain some recognition, I would suggest that you theme your pictures. Take a few topics or a subject that you love and have passion for, and then concentrate your photography on one or two selected topics. Even better, if you happen to have access to some situations that you are allowed to take photographs of, and other people don't have such access, you have an immediate photographic leg up on everyone else. Examples of this might include hobbies such as rock climbing, music, reenactment of old battles, etc., or if you are professionally involved in a field that has photographic opportunities, for example firefighting, technician in a university laboratory, etc., concentrate on such things, don't just use your camera like an indiscriminate shotgun.

Just my $0.02,

Tom

Hi Tom!

Thank you for your input - This thread was intended for me to upload and view the images I take daily as a "new enthusiast" i understand lots of people take images on cell phones and they look great! this was just to see what I can do. I do not have any idea of what I'm doing to a proper level, I just take pictures of things I see and like, Nothing wrong with that is there?

Im not trying to get any recognition or anything I just like taking pictures, who knows what it could possibly lead too? But again thank for your input.
