Photo Ratio for web use

I have a photo; the current size is 4032px by 3024px. The feature in the photo is around 4032px by 1380px which I need to highlight.

I'm trying to fix this as best as I can into a container which is dynamic in size on my screen say 1900 * 280px

What are my options to get as much of the image showing as I can within the container, I have but without distorting the ratio of the image?
