photo elements affecting PS

I bought a Bamboo tablet last year (which I don't use). When I installed it, PE came up (Maybe I installed that also if they are not connected). Now, whenever I use Bridge, and click twice on an image, PE come up, not PS. I want to uninstall PE. Will this affect my PSCS4? I have an Imac and use Mac OS X version 10.5.8.

sounds like you have a default program issue anything you want to open with ps set the default program to open them files.

not sure on a mac but with a pc it is a case of right clicking a file and selecting choose default program.

probably even a setting in adobe bridge as well.

and yes you can uninstall elements

Oops - forgot to ask if it would affect Bamboo as well?

no Bamboo is just an input device as long as you have the drivers installed will be fine
