I am looking for a really good tutorial on how to turn a person into a robot.

Here are some cyborg tutorials. I'm not sure they're the exact idea you have for a robot. Still, they may give you ideas. Plastering bits of metal machinery or maybe even bits of robot parts blended in with the body could work for your desires. My thoughts are if you want to turn human into robot then you want to keep humanoid characteristics so you are really thinking cyborg.

I used a combination of ideas from the next two for a manipulation I made.

Here's what I made. I could maybe should have made her face more robotic, like a visor for here eye area.

It would be great if you post your robot with your starting image here for us to see! I have the before and after on an external drive or I'd post that too, though I think it's obvious. (not in the position to get it at the moment with sick cat on my lap  )

The tutorials I posted are similar to the method Inkz posted. Together I think they should inspire you.

I may have to work on mine some more, inspired by your interest. I was just thinking how metal coils could make good hair, lol.
