Hi, I've been working with photoshop for a couple of months now. Nothing too spectacular, I just like to edit some images of my daughter from time to time. I would like to know how to achieve this kind of effect with the pattern behind the person in the image. I know how to use a pattern overlay, but I don't want the image of my daughter covered and I want some of the background to show through. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. Thanks to all who reply.
