Hi all,

I`m trying to follow a tutorial.
I`m on step 7, and i just can`t figure out how to do this part:
Now it’s the turn of the tail feathers. We will draw a rectangular vector with a rounded corners shape layer, setting a 30 pixels radius. With the Direct Selection Tool we will select the 3 upper anchor points and by pressing Cmd/Ctrl + T the direction points will appear. In the upper menu, we will click the link proportions tool and with a horizontal click + drag over the letter “W” (width) we will reduce these anchor points 60% from its original size.

Basically i`m hoping to adjust the width on only one of the sides of the rectangular vector. Making it narrower on side. Like a foot is narrower in the heel then in the front.

I can`t figure out how to select only the 3 upper anchor point. I have been reading up on the selection path tool too, and also with that tool I cant seem to mark anything but all point.

So need help please:)

I can`t post a like yet.
But its on the tutsplus (com) site. and how to create a cute twitter bird icon in photoshop. If you search on that in the seearch bar and scroll down a few post its there:)

I think what you are referring to, moving several points at a time, will require using the "A," the white direct selection tool (not the black path selection tool), or if you're working with the pen tool then hold down ctl/cmd. As you pick your points, use the shift key to select more than one at a time.

Hope this helps.

Hold down shift key; click chosen points, release shift; click on any of the chosen points and pull out in the direction you need it to go. Once you have clicked again on a point, you can hold down the shift key to move it in a straight line.
