Hi all

Been trying to figure out how to make the selection using the 'Path Select Tool' to auto fit the image edge to edge. The reason is that I have 9 images that have to be exactly the same size with slightly rounded corners for a website header, one for each country.

Is there any way to auto fit?

Thank you
Smideo

Hi Smideo or shmideo, the Path Selection Tool is used for selecting an existing pathway created and saved in a PSD file. Did you use the Pen Tool to create the path?

What file type are you trying to make a selection from? You can post an example image.

Hi IamSam

thanks for your reply.

The images are all .png
i am using the rounded edge tool over the image then the path selection tool to move it to the edges of the png image, only I can't get it exact edge to edge the same on every image.

Thanks
Shmideo

Ok, your using the Rounded Rectangle Tool (set to path, I assume) to create a path over an image, and you trying to use the Path Selection Tool to fit (alter) the path to the edge of the image?

After you create the path over the image (png) use the Transform function (command + T) to fit the path to the edges of the image.

I'm not at all sure what your trying to do. Post some images please.

Thank you so much IamSam, that did the trick. Using the Transform function kinda snaps it to the edge and thus keeping the size intact. Should have joined up sooner :)

I was just trying to make these png's with a slighty rounded edge keeping the size intact.

Thanks again
