Pasting Into A Selection

Pasted a new sky into the attached picture....Quick question for you all, if you look at this picture you will see my after picture has a line in the tree lines in the left hand side under the bridge. My question is how would you dial that down so it would not be noticeable? Thanks for the input.

Looks like colour bleed from the old background (old sky) in the pasted foreground (trees). Try and cut out the trees a little 'tighter' to remove the halo effect, or carefully try and remove the very edge of the trees to blend it a bit more.
 
I agree with either method. Cloning is probably the best. A layer mask and painting back and forth over the line between sky and tree with a soft, low opacity brush may also get you what you need. Whichever method works best for you. Personally, I'd duplicate the layer and try each technique. You should get totally comfortable with both methods in order to progress your skills.
