Particular effects with business card

hi mates, I'm working on a business card with cs4 extended...
It's everything alright except for the fact that I can't reach the effects rimmed in red in this image:

if anyone would help me here it is the psd file:

what do you mean you cant reach?

if you mean take the red from space out use the magic wand at 0 tolerance select it and then desaturate should do it

extend the canvas to get the tab at the top

that's right, this is what I mean, I did not explanin well 'cause I'm italian!

- select pen tool and make sure that the icon labeled "paths" is selected:



- trace the shape (for easy trace: view / show grid and View / snap)
- when done, select Layer / Vector Mask / Current Path to create a vector mask based on your path
