I don't want to be a pest, but I have been a MSPaint user for many years, and, I am trying to figure out how to do some of the simple things I can easily do in MSpaint using Photoshop CS2. Right now, I am stuck trying to get an area FILLED WITH A CHOSEN COLOR. I used the lasso tool to outline an area of the image, which is being represented within photoshop using a single layer (Background). The lasso tool light up the borders of this small area with a flashing dotted line all along the border. I selected the paint bucket tool and selected the color from then little color window (I chose a dark green color for contrast), and then I moved the cursor to within the borders of my light-up selection, and left clicked. NOTHING HAPPENED. Of course, I tried every way from Sunday to get this small area filled in with the chosen color, but, NADA - nothing happens. What am I missing - it seemed to intuitive. Help.

Hi little berry....

make sure you centre the paint flow from the bucket within the selection. And make sure the layer isn't

locked.

Make sure the tool is in normal mode and that Contiguous and Use all Layers boxes are checked in the tool menu
