What am I doing wrong...I create a path around an object ...make it a clipping path and then apply Puppet Warp...everything looks fine but when I return to the path, it is still in the shape of the object BEFORE I warped it..How do I make the path adhere to the new shape ???:banghead:

Instead of using Puppet Warp over the layer whit a vector mask, which only will transform the selection and not the path

i'll suggest Edit>Transform path>Warp "transforming the path instead" which will get you to the same result as using puppet warp on the layer, but this time you will be transforming the vector mask

Later you can fine tune the paths using the paths or direct selection tools

This probably will seem confusing but it will work.

also i included a link about transforming vector mask
Photoshop editing vector mask

Good luck

$1_ M4x1.... Many thanks for the advice !! I have used the warp tool in the past and you're right it does do about the same thing... I was experimenting with the puppet warp and it offered a lot more control and is more extensive... thanks also for the link ! :)
