So, decided I wanted to help out with some Photo restoration for Operation Photo Rescue:

For those that have not heard of them, here's a little info on them

Insurance can replace homes, furniture and auto mobiles in time of need. However, photographs, which are important pieces of a family’s history, are unprotected. Operation Photo Rescue (OPR) is a volunteer network of professional photojournalists and amateur digital photographers, graphic designers, image restoration artists and others.
OPR’s mission is to repair photographs damaged by unforeseen circumstances such as house fires and natural disasters at no cost to the people who own them.

I volunteered and with 24 hours received a test image. An image is sent out to see if the volunteer is able to restore images, I received mine within 24 hours.

This is what I received:

And this is what I managed to achieve:

Nothing Major I know but better than it was lol.

Took a while but if it helps those that have lost so much then I am happy to give my time it.

Just thought I would share anyways :cool2:

It's amazing Beast! I'm sending all my old photos your way. Seriously you did a great job and a great service. I bet your contribution will cause some tears to flow, and that's a wonderful thing. So gosh and golly, gee whiz; don't get all red in the face!

Thanks Clareby :) , actually enjoyed doing this so hope it's accepted and I can get more to do.
Expecting the next image to be nothing left but an eyeball or something lmao.

I have just watched one of their video's and people's reactions when they get their restored images back will make it all worth while
