Opening videos...

Greetings all.

Anyone know why I can't open a video in photoshop CS3?

It's an MOV file, filmed with a digital camera. I try to do file>import>video frame to layers, and I get an error that says I need Quicktime 7.1.

Can't find anything on-line that explains it properly.

Thanks,

Agent

I havent used cs3 in awhile but I think it doesnt recognize .mov files without a plugin (quicktime)

Photoshop won't open video files, you will need to use a MPEG player such as QuickTime to scroll to the frame you want, and then use a screen capture to capture that frame.

not sure about cs3 but from cs4 64 bit version doesnt accept movie files or any video but 32 bit did same for cs5 but cs6 uses a lot more formats and can be done using 32 bit or 64 bit
