i was out recently with my friend who will be known as "shorty" and i took a picture of her looking (to me) like a gangster with the way she was walking, so i took it back to my PC and gave it a few tweaks this is what i got.

i really liked the way the planet hollywood hoody really shone out which is what i was aiming for

C&C welcome, as usual

Someone is adventuring into HDR by the looks of it I decided to go out and actually shoot my camera setup for HDR when it works it works very well but very time consuming if you do it properly taking 3 bracketed shots of different eposures merging the pictures together and tweaking each 1 it can take upto 30 mins to process 1 image if you shoot in RAW after you have tweaked it but when you get it right they look amazing get it wrong and they look really bad. I actually like the HDR golow you got from overdoing it normally a no no in photography but I think it adds to the image or is it just masking from 2 different exposures not sure now lol I love dramatic clouds in HDR here is some examples I got from HDR playing all though take into consideration these are all 200mb compressed down to 1 mb to upload to here. Definately play with HDR if you like these effects it is very fun and adds a lot of depth to the image

wow those are really nice hoogle! i see what you mean about the dramatic effect it gives.

yes it is overdone HDR toning, :P i liked the effect it gave out it wouldnt be me if i didn't overdo it XD

yeah proper HDR is a fine line between over done under done and perfect only suits certain images I like it and cant wait to get good at it all though most of it can be done in tone mapping with a decent resolution 1 image rather than blending in 3 or more images of the same the top 1 of mine of the building is actually 3 x bracket shots 1 exposed normally 1 under exposed and 1 over exposed x 3 so completely merged was actually 9 photos if your going to go that crazy you need a cable shutter release and a tripod or the images will never line up properly but Thank you was not bad for my first attempt. I would reccomend HDR effex pro plug in from Nik Software it is the best HDR plug in by far especially for fake HDR using just 1 image but will merge up to 20 different shots to 1 with plenty of pre set options which can all be tweaked by slider bars
