OMG! Your new secretary is here!

Nice work ALBLE, two things distracting me though........the backing on the monitor and the white line in the lower right hand corner (almost looks like a layer style was applied) which really stands out!

Awwwww...picky picky. Was late when I finished it, eyes went out on me. (But your right, that was a layer style applied to a mask and I thunk I could get by with the computer thing..didn't count on you comin along LOL)
Thanks anyway, that thing has a bunch of time in it.

Edit: I corrected it IamSam...Thanks for the critique

Sorry guys...................... It's the OCD and the artist in me! :)

I'll try to refrain!

Quite alright Iam. That white part of the window frame sticking out into the computer was a glaring error. I should have caught that. The other two were just sloppy work, my bad.

Abel, (that's what I'm going to call you from now on.......or maybe Al.......don't know yet!) No worries, you fixed them! Looks great now! About that typewriter..................:bustagut:!!!! (Just jokes)

Trust me..................you nailed it Clare! You definitely want me to refrain from singing!

Hahaha! Call me what you want, so long as you call me when it's time to eat! Seriously though, Al is just fine.
Oh, you liked her typewriter? I know it looks a little funky, but I figured nobody in this crowd would remember what they looked like anyhow! What about her desk lamp?

Well, I have used a typewriter but I never typed by hurricane lamp . . . Let's see, we had Royals and Underwoods. I don't remember any other. Anyone remember mimeograph machines? :bustagut:

I do remember my mom doing her freelance editing and newspaper articles for hours at a time, on the phone almost as much as smart phone users today, lol. Carbon copies! Typewriter ribbons! Carriage return! Keyboards? Clackity clackity clackity. Pretty cool.

But nobody ever used as much paper as modern offices do with printing proofs, copying unknown numbers of people who don't want copies, lol. Every generation, it's own devils!

Better be careful Aunty, your gonna tell your age. Sure I remember mimeograph machines, those were the ones that had a hand crank on em and you turned it and put the paper through. Forerunner to the Xerox machines and other copy machines.
My first PC was an IBM Personal Computer (PC) -10 MEGABYTE hard drive, floppy disc drive and used DOS as the OS. You turned it on and you had a blinking cursor in the top left of the screen..that was it. The rest was up to you to give it the commands it needed to run what meager software you might have. First software was DBase, data base software. Then we got one that had a 20 MEG hard drive and I just couldn't imagine what we would have that would take all that disc base??? Times have changed a bit. That would have been early 70's, about 40 years ago.
