Not completely happy with the hair but I'm pretty happy how it turned out overall. :)

This is obviously your own work, compared to other entries you claim are yours mate.
The hair is a real issue, try softening the edges and adding some extra strands via a brush tool or even smudge maybe.

I agree with Paul. It's not a bad start but needs some finesse. (Especially the hair). Remember the only way to improve is with a lot of practice.

 Oh my God !!! Mrs. Merkel was young when black coal was still growing and dinos running around, there were no photo cameras in that age.

hair looks a bit like there's a hungry head-of-hair-leach attached to her head....otherwise, not half bad.

The scalp is too far forward on the forehead. It normally starts further back on a person's head. It just looks like a wig because of that. Maybe add some bangs/fringe to hide the too far down scalp.

Hi Shai. Like was mentioned before, you have a good start going here. The main issues are:
1. The hair is more saturated than the rest of the photo. If you kept the hair on a separate layer, bring up the Hue/saturation window (under Image/adjustments) and slightly desaturated the hair. If it's not on a separate layer the easiest way would be the sponge tool on a low setting with a soft brush.
Also on the hair, the lighting is inconsistent with the rest of the picture. This can be corrected easiest with the dodge tool set on mid-tones and low exposure, again with a soft brush making sweeps across the hair that are consistent with the hair lighting on the before picture. The hair is also a bit too tall but I'd correct the other issues first as this is minor.

2. You did a good job on getting rid of the wrinkles, but there are other issue that are giving it that not right look. The jaw line needs to be softened with a slight blur, a slight drop shadow(from the chin and jaw) should be on the neck. Also the hair is not plastered to the face so where the face would dip away from the(around the eyes, mid cheek and the visible ear) there needs to be a slight shadow.
If you address these issues, it will greatly help to give the de-aging some believability. I hope this helps. :)

I had to give this a try and see how I can do with the Age reducing thingy.. Lolz...
