Hi everybody!

This is the only photo I have of my great-great grandmother,but it is in a rough shape. I recived it in this quality from an older relative.

Great find for genealogy.
In restoration it is very important to start with the very best image. I know the person in the picture will come with scratches etc yet it is clear the picture take is out of focus. You can tell by the edges of the picture. Out of focus is a lot more difficult to correct and to have the best end result it should be in focus without motion blur if done by camera or should be done by having the image scanned. You will end up with a much better result from any post processing if you take this first step.
