Okay looking for some advice...

Just gave the exploding planet stuff a try. Not to great, but i dont think its half bad for stumbling through it. It just doesnt look right to me. Gimme some feed back please! Most importantly, suggestions/help. Im havent had a ton of experiance with photoshop, but i think im doing okay.

Good work from what I can tell. The only thing that I would suggest is to maybe blur the edges of the planet and give off an outer glow around the radius of the planet. Looks good though.
