Hi to all, this is my first post in this forum and I hope I will get good response and would learn a lot from you all (be it expert or novice like me).

About me, I m a beginner in Photoshop and trying to learn Photoshop on my own, though I m good (just good not an expert) in AUTOCAD (2D & 3D) .I m trying to learn to give realistic photo finishing look to 3D building (exported as image),which I have made using AUTOCAD.I have googled for the tutorial for the related thing but failed make out the way the photo realistic looks are given to images.

I have tried to add tree, people with shadow effects in my image ,and achieve a little bit but adding clouds and background vegetation and cars at different angle is proving to very hard for me.

I would also like to know about site(s) where free stuffs like images of car in different angle view and vegetation and similar stuffs can be found.

I m uploading my image and the similar images(example images are downloaded from google search, you can google for similar building images), the effects of which I want to learn.
I hope I will get good help from experts to learn this (photoshop). If possible please do provide tutorial related to this topic.

3D Building created by me using Autocad has been attached with this topic.as shown below

Welcome to the forum, ronitmaddy.

I deduce you work for an architectural or Engineering company?

I use Photoshop for postwork of Autocad renders of architectural images when I was employed in an architectural company years ago. I must admit, I'm kinda out of touch with the latest Autocad capabilities tho I've read that its render capabilities are much, much better nowadays. Way back , I did architectural renders the hard way.... by hand ... paintbrush, watercolor and spraygun.

I must say that tutorials with regards to doing this in Photoshop are hard to come by. Whatever knowledge I have was gained through trial and error experimentation.

To start you off , you have to find and download plant , trees and auto models in .dwg or obj format. I'm sure you have these?

And you need to have a collection of stock vegetation to be used for foreground and background elements - hedge, tree line, distant bushes.

The key to do doing this is LIGHTING and SHADOWS.

I must also add that doing this in PS will entail a lot of layers. Which is a good thing coz the layered element parts can be used in future works.... lol...

Post a sample of what you've created so far - complete with plants , auto , background and skies. This way, we can find ways to brighten it up and breathe life into it.

Why not use Photoshop brushes for the trees, etc. There are literally thousands, maybe even millions, of them out there on the web.
Just do a search on the specific type of brush your looking for example I did a search on Photoshop brushes, trees and this is just one site that came up. http://www.brusheezy.com/brushes/1312-complete-tree-brush-pack Many (most) are very well done. You can also find clouds and other elements.

Sorry for being late and thanks for the quick reply.as sugessted by you two I did some search and found some usefull stuffs viz. 3d cars, trees, etc.,I have used it in my cad model and would upload it soon.
